The deliverance from error is Imam Al Ghazali's spiritual autobiography. Written with a didactic approach, we will explore Imam Al ghazali's search after the truth, his epistemological crisis and how he found his way out.
We will also explore his analysis of the different schools in their journey to the truth, and his own seclusion in pursuit of it, and his eventual return to teaching.
Parallels will be drawn between his work and others such as Augustine's confessions and the Cartesian meditations.
